Royal Sunday Shoot and Night Out

Today I had a shoot for a fashion brand Royal Sunday which orginally comes from switzerland. Check out www.royalsunday.com !

It was a great shoot, we got picked up in a Hummer2 in PINK! Fun people and guess what the 2 brother’s owning it invited us for a night out in teh most famous club in Seoul, The Circle.

I got a cap to their apartement and then I was wow, he came with a tuned Bentlay, and his borther with a Ferrari, his friend with a Mclaren SLR and his other friend a Hummer2.

It was great almost racing through Seoul’s streets at night. You can check out videos on my YouTube.

We had great fun, champagne and everything in Seoul’s best night club. It was amazing!

Insurance Commercial

Today I had 2 castings for 2 catalogues. After that Brandon(USA), Carolina(BRASIL), Micheal(CA) a guy I didn’t know before, and me had a TV commercial for a Insurance Company. It was kind of 4 business people in a suit having a meeting and talking in korean about a insurance company.

The Korean Words we had to say were something like:

“Dong Jang Seng Miong,
Su ho chan sa,
Gum na mu,
Cho chu poham” or something like that…

Well it was quite fun, looking forward to see this funny ad on TV.

Shooting for Busan Aquarium

After that wonderful night in the Hyatt with my girlfriend we went to have breakfast, it was great, tasty but expensive one as well :-) But I would have done anything to spent this morning with her.

We soon had to say goodbye again :-( I left at about 8:45am and got a shuttle bus back to the city which only cost me 8.000 Won.

Miss ya babe!

At about 12:30pm I got picked up for a half day shoot. The theme was playing a prince with my partner Rachel being a mermaid. The prince is about to leave to fight against Pirates and so we had to look said, anxious that we could loose each other.

It was a great time, great team and photographer. Lots of fun.

i’m really looking forward to see the photos!

I saw an angel in Seoul…

IMGP0143.JPGThis day was very special to me. My babe was going from Sydney to Czech and had a stop-over i Seoul in the Hyatt. She was supposed to arrive at 6.30 so I assumed 7.30 would be the latest check in in the Hyatt.

Well I was at the wrong Hyatt in the City, from there it takes about 1.5hrs to the Hyatt at Incheon International Airport.

I called all 3 Hyatt’s and she didn’t check in. As I got the information it might take longer for people to check in although the hyatt is only 3 minutes from airport I tried again at 8.30pm

And finally she checked in, damn but all Shuttle buses were gone, only option Taxi. A cap would cost from 35.000 Won to 50.000. I decided to get a cap which then turned into a disaster.

The cap driver didn’t have a clue how to get airport (I repeat the International Airport) although he talked to his operator a few times and had a huge navi system in his car.

I finally arrived at 10.15pm. But then he wanted to charge me 60.000 WON!!!! + Toll!!! I denied and said mate we’ve been driving in circles for more than 30 minutes and just paid him 35.000 WON.

I didn’t have much time left with Jana but still it was a very special evening to me. Thanks babe.

Shopping in Seoul

All I was doing then was exploring Seoul and taking pictures with my new camera I bought. I went to e-Mart. If you ever go there, you better off getting prices from different resellers as they know you are foreigner.

One guy wanted to sell me a camera for 280.000 Won. The same camera I got in the end including a case and 1 Gig SDCard for 240.000 Won which is a huge difference considerin the extras I got with the last retailer. It’s good to walk around looking interested and let them see you talking to different resellers as I think this makes them go down with the price.

First day in Seoul, South Korea

What am I doing in Seoul?

I got a new agency from Canada, I Model Management. Thanks to Len to put that much effort in me and send me to South Korea. Arriving in Seoul after 10 hours I got picked up by Angela, on of the agencie’s staff.

She then gave me a lift to my apartment. Suprisingly I was the only guy in this apartment with 2 girls and 3 other girls living in another apartment.

Being tired from the travel and getting up early in Sydney to be on the aiport on time made me really tired and I went to bed pretty early.

Elix’r, I miss you guys!

After being back in Sydney, seeing my babe again I wasn’t quite sure what to do here. I didn’t want to do all those jobs I did when I was travelling, like selling nuts on markets, working as retail assistant in Queens Victoria Building, cleaning offices, doing removals….

I mean I did had some fun as well by doing the markets and selling juices, water and ice-cream at Bondi Beach. Bondi Beach is the most famous beach in Australia tho. I worked from 11am to 5pm. You got paid an hourly rate and commission. Sometimes the commission wasn’t as big because I was talking to people more than selling :) Australia having the strongest sun and being exposed from 11am to 5pm was a quite difficult job to do. We put sunscreen on all the time. After work we all went for a dip in the water, that was great!

Considering to study in Australia also, I needed a better paid job. Another reason is, that as an International Student you are only allowed to work 20hrs/wee. So I decided to become a Personal Trainer! All I needed to become one was money.

aif.jpg

I started doing labouring again, tough job but good money. Then I signed up for the Australian Institute of Fitness to do my Cert III & IV. 2 months studies, 4000 AU$ which is quite expensive. But the teacher’s were nice, fun and competent people having experience in that industry. I started studying in St. Leonards in December 2005 and finished my course in January 2006. I made a lot of friends, nice people I enjoyed having my lunch and a few nights out with.

Having finished Cert III the first part of my studies I started looking around for a job in a few health clubs in the city. In the end by accident I passed the Wentworth Sofitel and walked through the arcade. I saw a sign saying Elix’r Health Club. I went inside the Health Club and a guy called James on the reception introduced himself and took my cv. He was a nice guy and not long after I met the manager Alex for an interview. A week or 2 later I still didn’t get any call if I had the job or not. So I called Alex who told me he was just about to call me I had the job, GREAT!

So I started working in Elix’r Health Club on Reception. It is a nice Health Club, Sydney’s Leading Mind & Body Health Club specialising in Yoga and Pilates.

I loved it, he wanted me to do Yoga , Pilates and Stott Pilates Courses to get a feeling for it, so I could identify with the environment where I was working in. Alex was the greatest manager, he really made working in Elix’r a pleasure for everyone.

Why I left, not because I didn’t like it, NO WAY! I loved it but I got an offer to do modelling in Seoul, Tokyo and other Asian countries.

I miss you guys!
